  • 1 cup goji berries
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 red chili pepper, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey


  1. In a large saucepan, combine the goji berries, vegetable broth, garlic, ginger, and chili pepper. Bring to a boil over high heat.

  3. Using a potato masher or a fork, mash the berries to break them up and release more of their juices.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce and honey and continue to simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
